I think they came out pretty well, maybe it would have been nice to have more battle damage on them but they will do. They are gonna get some 40mm round bases so I can use them for normal 40k games too.
My birthday was last month and I got some cash from my parents and this got me a new air brush. After some reading and looking around I decided to get a Harder&Steenbeck Evolution. It seemed to be a good buy for the price.
My first victim was the Predator hulls that I have vowed for ETL4 and man, it is quite a brush compared to my old cheapo Chinese brush! The precision can't be compared and now I won't dread the moments of air brushing and I will probably get on with a bunch of projects which has been sitting for too long on the shelf.
On the terrain side of things the boccage is coming along, I am currently doing the last detail work before flocking/grassing/boccaging(?) the pieces.
Excellent buy, the Evolution, will last forever if you keep it clean, and easily adapted to bigger and smaller needles. And I like the progress on yopur bocage, lloks solid.
SvaraRaderaI got the 2in1 but have only tried the 0.4 nozzle so far. I think it can easily spray the finest lines needed for miniatures (at least at the level I do things)
RaderaI quite like the black shoulders/arms with the blood angels red. Is that 'stock', or a successor chapter, or something else?
SvaraRaderaThose are Flesh Tearers: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Flesh_Tearers I don't get the right, deep red color since when I painted my first miniatures my paint range wasn't that good. So I just kept it the same :)
RaderaNow I have a standard to shoot for! They look awesome man!
SvaraRaderaThanks!
